'I gave Lucy a slightly unique brief for my wedding make up. It was inspired by an Ellen Von Unwerth print campaign for Lavazza Coffee in 2006. I know, it was a little strange perhaps but it all made sense in the end.

Being of Chinese/Mix race descent I decided to wear a vintage Chinese "Cheong Sam" (Chinese long dress) for my big day. It was from here that I saw the Lavazza posters everywhere and thought "that's what I want".

Lucy was given the pictures as a reference and from this we did a make-up trial. Even at the trial alone I was so impressed with not only Lucy's skill, but her ability to take an advertising campaign and make it into my amazing wedding look. It was slightly more theatrical than the average bride would want. With extra long false eyelashes and gorgeous red lips, but this was perfect for me.

My bridesmaids followed suit with false eyelashes, stunning lips and eyeliner. They were thrilled with the final outcome and didn't want to remove their make-up at the end of a long night.

Well done to Lucy for taking a quirky brief and turning it into an amazing wedding look. I truly hope you'll get to experience Lucy's fantastic make-up artistry one day too.'
